Some states allow a child to work at 14 or 15 years of age. It may be difficult for a parent to get a child to and from a job. Some states require that a child be 16. If your child is not of age or is not ready to hold a real job, they can still earn money doing a variety of other things. The opportunities are endless when you consider having your child make things to sell. Many children sell items they have made such as magnets, artwork, pottery, and even making Christmas ornaments. 

With a little thought and some momentum from you, your child can get started on the right path to finally earning an income. Once your child begins wanting to earn money, put your thinking caps on and you will see that there are many options.
